Intersections: The Future of Youth — Join Us for a Transformative Forum!
Come and Join Us as either a facilitator or as a Participant in this youth forum!

Are you passionate about making a difference? Do you want your voice to be heard in shaping the future of Singapore? If you’re between 16 and 35, this is your chance to join other young changemakers at Intersections: The Future of Youth, a dynamic youth forum happening on Sunday, 24th August 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Urban Eats Factory, 61 Ubi Ave 1.
Why This Forum Matters
Singapore is a vibrant mix of cultures, religions, and nationalities. As our society grows more diverse, it’s important for young people to come together, share their stories, and create solutions for the challenges we all face. The Intersections Youth Forum is all about giving you a platform to talk about what matters most—identity, belonging, mental health, sustainability, and more.
This forum is part of the Musica Intimae: Intersections Festival, an initiative by Vox Camerata that explores the real-life experiences of bi-ethnic and bi-religious families in Singapore. This time, we’re focusing on youth perspectives, making sure your ideas and concerns are at the heart of the conversation.
What to Expect
We believe that learning is most powerful when it’s interactive and youth-led. Here’s what’s in store for you:
- Forum Theatre: Watch actors bring real-life scenarios to life, then step in to suggest solutions and see how your ideas play out.
- Youth-Facilitated Group Discussions: Join small groups led by trained youth facilitators. Share your thoughts, listen to others, and brainstorm creative ways to tackle the issues you care about.
- Gallery Walk: Express yourself through art and see what other participants have created. It’s a space to showcase your ideas in unique and creative ways.
Key Topics
The forum will cover a range of topics that matter to young people in Singapore, such as:
- Social Cohesion: How can we build stronger, more inclusive communities?
- Singapore Beyond Our Shores: What does it mean to be Singaporean in a globalized world?
- Sustainable Singapore: How can youth lead the way in climate action and sustainability?
- Mental Health: Let’s break the silence and talk openly about mental well-being.
- Emerging Issues: Have something else on your mind? There’s space to raise and discuss new topics too.
Why You Should Join
- Be Heard: Your experiences and ideas matter. This is your chance to share them with peers, community leaders, and organizations that want to listen.
- Build Skills: Learn how to communicate, collaborate, and problem-solve in a supportive environment.
- Make Connections: Meet other young people who care about the same things as you. Build friendships and networks that last beyond the event.
- Shape the Future: Help create real solutions and recommendations that can make a difference in your community.
